English grade 1-8 course is developed to train students for oral communication, reading, writing, and media literacy of the English language, supporting them in secondary school academics and their daily lives. Through this course, the knowledge and skills make students capable of understanding, creating, and responding to informational, literary, and media texts in English. Students are given numerous opportunities to read and listen about various topics, including personal interests, academics, and current affairs. Students will critically interpret a variety of media texts and construct meaning using the knowledge.
